Metro Rail Safety team conducts inspection at Yelachenahalli Metro station
Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety (CMRS) and K.A. Manoharan and Dy. CMRS E. Srinivas conducted the safety inspection at the Yelachenahalli Metro Station on Kanakapura Road on May 24, 2017.
The area was abuzz in the evening around 4.30 and a team of personnel from Metro Rail Safety were seen in reflector vests. The inspection began at 3.30 p.m. and ended at 6.40 p.m. Vijay Kumar Dhir Director (Project & Planning) and N M Dhoke, Director (Rolling stock, Signalling & Electrical) were present during the inspection.
The next round of inspection will commence on May 29, 2017, and will be held till May 31, 2017, according to an information posted on Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. (BMRCL). This inspection will begin on the elevated corridor between National College and Yelachenahalli Metro Stations on May 29, 2017, from 10 a.m. and the inspection will go on through the day.
On May 30, 2017, the underground section between Sampige Road and National College stations will be inspected and the Metro Rail Safety team will conduct the trial run in the entire stretch on May 31, 2017, from 9.45 a.m. to 11 45 a.m.
